    That would be childish, but that's not what I'm suggesting. Iran shouldn't have to meet a series of demands or jump through a bunch of hoops in order to earn a conversation. They simply must demonstrate they're worth communicating with by demonstrating honesty and integrity. It's not about "doing what I want", it's about giving purpose to communication beyond talking for talking's sake. It's not complicated.

    Look, all this stuff you're saying looks pretty ridiculous after the PM you sent me whose sole purpose was to call me a jackass. Do you really expect me to take any of your words on "communication" and "childish" seriously after that?

    I just briefly read through this thread. I understand the problems of 'negotiating' with dishonest parties. Also, I feel going into a negotiation with a pessimistic outlook will only lead to failure. So, I recommend NOT sending ffg on the US's behalf. :D

    all you are doing is describing what it is you want - I guess because because you believe it is nobel and justifies your position of "I am not speaking to you unless you do what I want"

    Telling me what my position is doesn't make it so, no matter how much you want to. I don't expect Iran to "do what I want" before I speak to them. I simply expect Iran to demostrate that speaking to them will have some purpose.
