Did anyone listen to Elliot this morning? Apparently there was a guy who was disgruntled with Live Nation or a promoter over a fight and his ejection at another event, and after recieving some tickets from Elliot, made threats to the promoters that he was going to the EV show with a gun. Did anyone else hear this? I was at the Sat. show and security was a def. presence, wands etc in use. Was it different on Sunday? Was this just a hoax? Anyone have inside info?

A couple of weeks ago, Projekt Revolution rolled through town, stopping at Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA. A few days later, a listener called in and told us how undercover cops at the venue had beaten him up so badly that he had just been released from the hospital that morning. Now, word from Nissan Pavilion is that that listener or one of his friends has been calling the promoter (Live Nation) and the promoter’s security company, telling them that he has a gun and is seeking revenge. He also told the two businesses that Elliot felt bad for him and as a result, had given him a bunch of tickets to future shows. Not true… the part about Elliot giving him tickets. The part about him feeling for the guy? True. For some reason, Elliot seems to have this soft spot in his heart for people whose actions have been misinterpreted by police officers. Anyway, today we wanted to get to the bottom of this, so we called whom we thought was the guy who was making the threats. Spoiler alert! It wasn’t him.
