Curser over the topic discloses the threads first post. BUT now it doesn't work???

So I like the new message board and all. But i miss the old one too. I wish you could choose which website you wanted over the years. Remember the first one?? or the binaural one?

To the topic of my thread...

I liked the last message board for the reason that I could hold my cursor over someone's thread and read the topic. Now i can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Can anyone tell me whats up with this?

    Ah ha, my least favorite thing about the new pit.
    From my experience, it seems that some forums have it, some don't.
    I hate when they don't, especially with this new slow-loading pit. Sucks to waste time clicking on a post just to find it's not what you thought.

    Is this something that the mods can adjust, or is it something with the server??

    TELL ME ABOUT IT.

    I really hope they will be able to incorporate that.

    Another thing I really liked was to view the pages... that gave me a better idea of how long the post was. But I suppose I'll just figure that out by the number of posts now.

    Oh I totally miss that feature! It quickly gave you a general feel for the thread without having to open it...
    Another thing I miss is the jump link list at the bottom of the page on the old forum. That was really handy and also a time saver.

    quotes don't really work either.

    This is clearly still a work in progress. No biggie

    i agree. i think they're just working out the kinks. maybe email the 10c and let them know what you liked about the old pit, so they can incorporate it into this forum.

    I miss that feature too. It was a time saver because I could usually tell whether I wanted to look at the whole thread or skip it.

    agreed... put this at the very top of the "to do" list, 10C... please! followed by some kind of "user CP" like the old pit... followed by emoticons... followed by post count (either transfer the old or start over)... if these things are possible with the new server that is

    other than that im slowly getting used to the new pit

    they should make a sticky "suggestion box" for ideas.

    and get rid of about 10 other stickies. I'm tired of seeing that Jeff Ament's "Tone" pre-sale starts today...
