Imagine the singer, whatever his name is... Singin a blues song they wrote.

Imagine the rhythm guitarist coming up with a fresh new funky/groovey blues progression... I think it would be rad

And the lead guitarist ripping some of his already blues influenced skills

and the bassist and drummer would put a new spin on it too.

I think it would be a really great thing to hear.

thoughts?

You're silly. Deep and 1/2 Full are my favorites, although Red Mosquito is slowly working its way up the list.

PJ can definitely pull it off with Mikey leading the way using some of his Mad Season blues magic.

deep, and red mosquito aren't blues tunes. They are blues influenced though.

    Yellow Ledbetter
    Black
    Comeback
    NAIS
    Alive
    Smile
    Red Mosquito....

along with alot of Mike solos lean heavily on the blues.

Blues influenced is cool. Bluesy blues suck. If I want a boring Pearl Jam song, I will request another Thumbing My Way.

I can't agree with that statement. Absolutely love the chorus in that tune.

Whenever I think of a bunch of white guys playing blues, I always think of the band Blues Hammer from the movie Ghost World. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfu8Dx0N6uY
