    It's neat when there is a solar flare directed at the camera it interferes with the image. Any interest in astrology Abook?

    Yeah, somewhat. I used to be big into constellations when I was a kid.

    They are all very real. Some have the colors enhanced but the formations are real.

    My favorite cloud...

    The cycle of solar activity is due to the magnetic fields. Basically the difference in rotation speed at the equator from the polls causes the magnetic field to be warped and twisted, to such an extent that the magnetic field finally begins snapping, sending out solar flares. Then things settle down for awhile.

    Talking about changing faces of the sun- it actually gets 4 million tonnes lighter every second as matter is converted to energy (in other words it sheds the equivilent weight of the earth every 70 000 years).
