if we hate politicians so much

why are these threads filled with political topics?

    politics is the lifeblood of how america shifts its focus on all things, domestic to international.

    Saying "I hate politicians" is one thing.
    It is indicative of a system that has long given selective preference to those that are willing to ignore the popular opinion (see bush at 20% approval) in order to advance the interests of the elite business class.

    On the other hand, "I hate politics" is a silly assertion altogeather.

    Sure, we may hate politics as it plays out every 4 years in America ... slimy and shallow.

    However, "politics" itself is just a word that comes from the greek "politikoj" meaning "civic" "citizen" or "civil" roughly.

    All it is meant to infer is the practics, science\art, or involvement in government or governance of the populace.

    Politics is simply the necessity (arguably?) of some form of governance, and the discussion of it just comes with the territory.

    Personaly, my involvement in it usualy extends only in so far as there is a candidate worth said involvement.
    This year, there happens to be just such a candidate.

    That had to be the greatest post ever. When I read it coffee almost shot out of my nose. If I'm not mistaken though that is the plot for the new Rambo film.

    I thought the new Rambo movie was supposed to be like that Aliens vs Predator movie, only it was Rocky vs Rambo. Stallone plays every role in the movie, he directs it and produces it.

    But thinking about it I'm glad they stuck with Macgyver's plot.

    Everybody hates some politician. Because for viewpoint there will always be an opposing viewpoint that you don't like or even hate. Hating policitians usually means you care about politics not the other way around.
