As a musician who regularly plays London venues - even if I'm white and I play acoustic material in respectable boozers to the chattering classes - this still fucks me off, big time.

    that's scary. A Pub owner could lose his license, what in the hell. looks like an excuse to crack down on dissident music.

    they wouldn't know what to do if RATM played there.

    Is this the main theme of Gordon Brown's gov't?
    Big Brother all the way.
    Hasn't he been in support of the scheme to monitor ALL electronic communications in the UK?
    US/UK have had a taste of the benefits of controlling the masses thru media 'talking points' they have acheived by media consolidation.
    That not being enough it seems they want to predict the future.
    Mine enough data and you'll see who will think of dissent/crime
    before they do
    All to manage or assess risk in the name of resource management.
    Arts be damned, liberty be damned
    risk/profiling it is a f uckin outrage.

    I hope the petition will be successful.
