We'll now find out for sure whether George Galloway was right and that Brown and his predecessor are two cheeks of the same arse, or whether Brown is safely unaffected by the steaming political heritage protruding between the legacy of the Blair years and the curve of his own era.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.
  • I think I'll pick my nose and eat it to pay homage. My guess is that he's not the other ass cheek but has been pulled from the Blair ass itself...

*fingers loosley crossed* here's to new blood and fresh hope ...cheers
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I don't expect anything significant to come of it. It never has before, so why now? It's just another talking head at the helm, after all. It will be interesting to see how he deals with Bush, but then I just expect the same kind of lame, subservient ass kissing as before.

From what I have read about Gordy, I understand he is as pro-American as Blair but he is not expected to be as close to Bush as Blair was. So I guess no real change...?
