I forgot to renew my membership.....

My membership expired on the 3rd. I had every intention of renewing it. I almost renewed it in late february, but I put it off because I knew I still had a few more days. And then I completely forgot about it. Now I can't buy tickets through ten club because I wasn't an active member as of yesterday. I just renewed my membership 5 minutes ago, but it doesn't matter. It's too late. I probably look like I'm just renewing my membership because of the tour announcement, but that's not it at all. I'm a ten club member for life. I have pretty good seniority too. 10 years next year.....oh well, live and learn as they say. I can still try ticket master. I hope no one else out there forgot to renew your membership.....

    write and ask, they usually give a month grace period for renewing!!

    This exact happened to me in 2003, but I still got 10 club tickets.

    I called the 1-800 number and the girl said there is a grace period for my membership, but not for the tickets to the show. I felt like I got kicked in the stomach. I've always wanted to see them in NY too. Remember, you and I talked about that last year. Are you going to make it??

    Really? How far past the due date were you? I'm like 17 days past my due date.

    and i know, i remember! i'm tormenting myself at the moment...6/25 is my bday and they play MSG then :o AGGGGGHHHHhhhhh i need to sell everything lol

    Keep your eyes on this site...I already saw a trade thread where someone said they would have an extra ticket to all the NY shows if they successfully get them. You're not empty handed yet!

    thanks, I will definitely be keeping my eyes open. And I know I can still get tickets, just not through ten club. It's my own fault.

    I renewed yesterday on the 19th (ran out on the 2nd) around dinner time mainly because I'm paying back student loans and paying rent and money is kind of tight right now and I get paid on Wednesdays so I was finally able to get it renewed... so I dunno what my status is.... my luck I will get shut out, but I'm planning on going w/ 4-5 friends so not getting 10c seats isnt that big of a deal since I've been pretty close in the past and being in the building is all I really care about.

    Would you go to both shows, or would you pick one?? I guess if you were going to fly out there from the west coast you would go for both nights?

    i figure if i lose my mind might as well do it whole hog, so yeah, probably both :o lol but i dunno. and i'd go by myself although i don't htink i'd have problems finding someone for my other ticket lol is your girl in the 10c? can she get the hookup for you for the MSG shows?

    yeah my girlfriend is in tenclub, so she can still get tickets for us. She just has to change her work schedule. We are going to New York next month, but I don't think we will have a problem going back again so soon. I hope you decide to go too. :)

    What's happening in Jersey? You have family there right?? At least you'd have somewhere to stay if you went. You would save on hotel costs. And you could eat their food too! What's there to think about?? ;)

    Well maybe I can get tickets still? I don't see why there would be a grace period for my membership and not be able to get tickets through ten club? That doesn't make any sense. Especially since I've been in the club since 1999....
