Diddy recently released an apology after it was discovered dog fur was being used in his supposedly faux-fur Sean John clothes.
Apparently the Humane Society of the United States discovered that Sean John was among the designer lines using domesticated coyote fur, also known as raccoon dog, E! News reported (other brands supposedly include Calvin Klein, Baby Phat and MaxMara). Some stores pulled the articles after the findings were released.

"I was completely unaware of the nature of this material, but as soon as we were alerted, the garments were pulled off the Macy's floor and Website," Diddy said in a statement his publicist released. "I have instructed our outerwear licensee to cease the production of any garments using this material immediately. I appreciate the tireless work that the Humane Society does and would like to thank them for bringing attention to this issue."

  • I'm glad to hear its been pulled. It's disgusting.

Apparently a lot of the cheap fake fur that's been on the market for the past few years has a lot of dog and cat fur from china even though its supposed to be fake. As soon as I found out about it I gave my fake fur scarf to a charity shop - it really gave me the creeps after that!

No reputations were harmed in the making of this apology.
