Another horrible video...and sadly this is pretty common. Not that intelligence matters, but to think pigs are being brutalized this way and they have been proven to be as intelligent or possibly more so than dogs.

I care. Animal welfare issues aside, there is a little thing called BSE that is the reason why this kind of thing is illegal in Australia.
It doesn't matter if you're male, female, or confused; black, white, brown, red, green, yellow; gay, lesbian; redneck cop, stoned; ugly; military style, doggy style; fat, rich or poor; vegetarian or cannibal; bum, hippie, virgin; famous or drunk-you're either an asshole or you're not!

WTF is wrong with people?! This is the kind of shit that gets people to join PETA. For all the bad press they get, I think so many overlook their purpose. I hope there's a special place in Hell for people who take joy in hurting animals like this.
  • I can't watch animals being abused. In the same respect I can't fathom people that do.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions

Unless something has changed since this article, but why haven't these people been charged? The county and the company is "investigating"? You have a video of these people abusing animals, I understand investigating the scope of abuse, but for the people actually caught on tape, why not just charge them now?

I care. I won't watch the video though. I just can't look at people being cruel to animals. I am a vegan because I care.

A big problem is there are very little, and in most cases no laws to protect farm animals. Unfortunately these types of abuses are fairly common. Even outside of intentionally inflicting pain out of frustraion or for fun many farm techniques are extremely painful for animals. Tail docking, teeth cutting, branding, neutering, debeaking....all done without any painkiller or anesthetic.
