2or3 C-07 globemaster III air transports( to carry the motorcade and a helicopter)
2 identical 747-200Bs (airforce one)
plus another chartered plane for press and hangers on
2 sea king helicopters
black hawk surveillance
250 secret service personnel
200 representatives from avriuos US departments
150 national secuirty advisors
50 white house political aides
15 sniffer dog teams
personal chef and 4 cooks
20 car motorcade including an ambulance and SWAT van

there is also a secure zone of between 500m - 1 kilometre around the motorcade to shield the president from bad guys and protestors.

    Hopefully he'll receive the same kind of welcome he got when he came to London. I.e, no welcome at all. The protests were so big that he had to be shuffled in and shuffled out again behind a massive security blanket.

    Excellent! Id expect a good protester turn-out here. The dudes really pissed off a lot of people. Although, John Howard will welcome him with open arms, he is in love with W after all.

    so much for packing light. all of that waste o fmoney and resources to protect one man. granted he is one of the most hated men in the world though.
