History classes in american schools suck (I haven't been to other countries schools so I can't say.) It's all lies and bullshit to make people feel better about themselves. People could actually learn from the past if they knew what actually happened but that would mean they might hear some shit that they might not like to hear. Don't even get me started on the shit known as thanksgiving and the pilgrims.

Sorry, just thought I'd vent.

Let me guess -- You just finished reading Zinn's book.

Dr. James W. Loewen, Lies My Teacher Told Me actually. Still reading it. Anyway, what's your thoughts?
  • Most High Schools offer advanced AP history classes to seniors with half a brain, in which case the curriculum is fairly massive, and a good teacher will do it justice.

Most children in any country, maybe with the exception of Germany aren't raised up with the specters of all their countries most vile demons in public schools.

I think college makes up for it anyway
