why hasnt Obama proven his citizenship?

I dont really agree or disagree with either side of the argument here. But seems to me, just as in any job you need to prove you are who you say you are. Through documentation, social security numbers, photo i.d.'s, and passports and yes birth cirtificates.

If he has nothing to hide, why is he being so shady about it all? Why didnt he get it over with first thing when the whole campaign got under way 22 months ago?

Do I seriously believe he is not an American citizen by birth? No. But does his behavior make it suspicious, yes...

Its just like Bush's refusal to publish any info on his air national guard days. We all know what happened, and why it happened (Bush was caught with cocaine, but because daddy was a politician with credentials-record scrubbed clean, and somehow, bush moved ahead of a long line waiting to join the national guard-thus you wuldnt die in vietnam, and somehow he moves to the head of the line). we all know why bush hasnt published those records...
