I am a radical. I dont believe their is a single difference between Dems and Repubs. I voted for Nader in 2004 and will vote for him this year, but even if he personally called me up and asked me to work on his campaign I would refuse to. Our generation seems to be more smitten with a political candidate than in any time in history and all the rockers love him as well, but I dont give a hoot about him personally.

In 2006 I turned my back on 6 years of heavy duty acitivsm and emmersing myself in everything political. I have spent the last year and a half immersing myself in all things personal.

Tonight I plan on watching The Daily Show for the first time in a long time.

I have no qualms whatsoever, that in the most important election of my lfietime, I have no interest whatsoever in any of it, and that I will be recieving all my news, ALL my news, from The Onion and The daily Show.

The world has gone gaga for Obama and Election 08. I havent. And I dont plan to change. It doesnt interest me in the least.

The biggest hoot yet, was when I was channel surfing. Cnn was saying, "obama is just introducing himself now to the american people". What the hell was the last 15 months? I know more about Hil and Obama than I ever care to know about anyone. Another great snippet of wisdom was "american voters now must decide which candidate is telling the truth and will deliver". As if its a given either of them will deliver. Politicans lie. Its a dictionary definiton. So to expect obama or mccain to be different is almost saccreligious.

I have never been as radical, but I have never been as cynical as I am now.

  • It is a pain in the ass. I try to multi-task, though...juggling a time for personal growth, a time for Nader campaigning, a time to endlessly engage in the same arguments, a time to get high and goof off, a time to rock out to excellent music, a time to get housework done, a time to relax with a good book

a time for peace, I swear it's not too late!

Sorry, I'm in a goofy mood. Hope that cynicism clears up for ya, though :)
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.
