Will the escalation in the Iraq War cause massive protests not seen since Vietnam? Will this be the impetus to cause the sort of chaos that occured during the 60's?

Escalations during Vietnam caused activists to rachet up their militancy, and their opposition to the war, will we see similar results in the current war?

No. People are too brainwashed today. They'll go home listin to their iPods, watch their HDTV and then surf for porn on the internet.. life is too good to be an American and take the time out in the cold weather to voice an opinion. What is an opinion anyway? Most people already paid their opinionated dues this year with America Idol..

I have no way confirm this, but I heard on the news that there will be a march in Washington soon.

no i don't think we'll see anywhere near the number of protetst as we did during the vietnam war mainly b/c in vietnam there was 1. a draft (which did not sit well with a lot of people) and 2. 47,000 americans killed during that war.

    Nope.
