It seems quite clear war with iran seems extremely likely.
What is everyones take on the consequence in terms of u.s. domestic policy?
Would the u.s. bombing iran sort of reignite the sort of dead and dying peace movement here in the u.s.
Everyone I know seems to suggest the reason that the u.s. domestic climate isn't filled with college students on strike and firebombs and riots on campus and kids filling the streets by the millions in protest of the war is the lack of a draft. Would the war with iran cause this to occur? Would college age kids have more of a stake in the policy if iran was attacked?
Would the bombing of iran, in a sick way, be the needed boost, to get the troops home, and cause every major poltician, reguardless of their political affiliation to demand the troops come home now?
