Leno is NOT left wing. He's a Republican.
And for two (in consiously ironic tone), how does that jive with Leno saying in an interview: "I don’t mind that people don’t like me. I don’t like them not to like me for the wrong reason. If someone says, “I don’t like Jay Leno because he’s a conservative,” I call him and I go, “I’m not conservative. I’ve never voted that way in my life. Where do you get that from?”"
If they don't make fun of everyone, it wouldn't be funny. The Daily show never looked too left wing until there were only Republicans to make fun of.
being against the war isn't a liberal only trait. epecially considering god's gift to idiots, the democratic party, voted for the war.
That's bullshit. I like the show better now that they aren't trying to fake that they are are not biased to one side vs. the other. I remember reading tons of articles about 3-4 years ago where they were saying that the show was not pro-conservative or pro-democrat. Even then I knew that was bs.
Nobody pretends to be unbiased. They make fun of everyone. If they just pick on one, they would only be catering to the humorless hypocrites that agree with them.
The war is THE only democratic trait though (i.e. Lieberman). Liberals are the open-minded party? Right, right.
