The bailout bill is up for approval again tomorrow. Please feel free to let Nancy Pelosi where you stand.

For California Residents

If you are from another state, your representative probably has a website through which you can voice your opinion.
Please use fiscal common sense and vote "no" on the upcoming bailout bill. Listen to what economists all across the nation are saying.

Additionally, because you are one of the richest members of congress, you might be afraid of losing some of your precious wealth if wall street isn't "bailed out."

Rest assured that the economy will recover in due time, and that fluctuations such as these are required in order to cap the staggering inflation from which our economy suffers. And this means that your vast stockholdings will also recover.

Being a California resident, you might be aware of the enormous increases in the price of homes between 2002 and 2006. Please keep in mind that those price increases only served to keep homes out of the hands of the modest wage earners who believe in personal financial responsibility.

California was quickly becoming a dual economy because of this inflation, and now that prices are beginning to return to healthy levels, this bailout bill will only serve to keep prices inflated, keeping homes out of the hands of modest people who hope to one day become responsible homeowners.

Please keep in mind that your understanding of the economy is very limited at best, as you would not be supporting this bill if the circumstances were otherwise. You have a duty to the people of America to be cognisant of your own shortcomings, and to therefore put your own personal beliefs aside for the sake of our future by listening to academia's advice of not voting for the bail out bill.

Thank you.

I don't use the word hate very much. But I really really really hate her. The look on her face after the House voted this thing down was the best thing I've seen in a long time.

excellent email. i hope you took the next logical step and wrote "DISCARD PILE" in black marker across the envelope, just to save her office staff some time. your email is dripping with sarcasm and hostility. i'm sure it will be well received by madame speaker. good job.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Pelosi trying to amend the original bailout plan? How did she become the face of the bailout plan (by Republicans)? I think I know the answer but please tell.

you actually have two senators ... Feinstein and Boxer ...

the other problem is, even if the House was voting on this, Nancy Pelosi isn't your representative either ... (she's actually mine) ...

because she's easily outsmarted and bullied by republicans.
