What was the first time? When Georgia started attacking Russia?
  • I wish Russia would stop forcefully occupying other countries under false pretenses. They have a long history of doing this for decades now.

    no...wait....

    Who's occupying who again?
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

  • Damn their eyes, meeting up with countries they have no reason not to. Curse them, and their international relations being entirely independent of America's!

Seriously... why shouldn't they meet up with Cuba and Venezuela?

I'm guessing restarting a new Cold War could be prosperous for both countries' defense spending and lucrative contracts for those in the know. Russia has to "scare" us so we buy into this bullshit.
  • ok, maybe "pokes with stick" was a bit strong. Cuba, and especially Venezeuala, have been outspoken opponents of the US though, or at the very least, the Bush Administration. I think this Medvedev guy is just a Putin puppet. I believe he's being sent to meet with Chavez to see how Bush, and to some point Obama, react.

General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Lord, Jack.
General Jack D. Ripper: You know when fluoridation first began?
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: I... no, no. I don't, Jack.
General Jack D. Ripper: Nineteen hundred and forty-six. Nineteen forty-six, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Uh, Jack, Jack, listen, tell me, tell me, Jack. When did you first... become... well, develop this theory?
General Jack D. Ripper: Well, I, uh... I... I... first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love.
    Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm.
General Jack D. Ripper: Yes, a uh, a profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I... I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence.
    Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm.
General Jack D. Ripper: I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women uh... women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I, uh... I do not avoid women, Mandrake.
    Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: No.
General Jack D. Ripper: But I... I do deny them my essence.

General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Well, no, I can't say I have..
  • Russia wants their slice of the exploiting third world country pie, and we dont want to give it to em.

oh heh that reminds me. anyone see the new Bond movie yet? Its practically Bond vs. America in parts. funny to see in such a mainstream movie.

So what? Who cares that they have been very outspoken opponents of the US, or Bush. The US and Bush have done a lot of shitty things.

I think Putin still runs the shots, but Medvedev should not be underestimated.

Why would Bush or Obama react to it? What's there to react to?
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!
