What the fuck is going on in this country? Joe The Plumber Rallies? The guy claims he's an independent, getting ready to buy the company he works for, but in reality, he's a registered Republican, and an unlicensed plumber, who doesn't make much money, and doesn't even have enough scratch to pay his taxes, let alone buy a company that's not even for sale. And now we have "Tito the Builder" appearing regularly on Foxnews on behalf of the McCain campaign. They literally plucked these guys off of the street, and now they are practically senior advisors to the McCain campaign. What have we come to in this country?

The republican party is trying to channel the "average" American. Sad to say but I bet that at least half this country believes shit like this. Kind of insulting you're intelligence huh? Republicans don't want you to think freely and independently. They would rather you just let them try and do the thinking for you and everything will be just fine. How's that working out for everyone????

  • ridiculous isn't it?

it's become a bad dream-sideshow....amazing that these people don't see how asinine they are to a lot of Americans.
  • I know!!! And plus which...the whole reason this guy Joe got any attention at all was by claiming that he was afraid he was going to have to pay more taxes. And now he says that he doesn't want a tax break because that'd be socialism - it'd be taking someone else's money and he doesn't want it. Aaaaaaarghhhh! Idiot!

Give me a break. Doesn't JTP have a job? Or somewhere he has to be? Doesn't he have kids or something to look after? He seems to be everywhere right now.

Again, I implore everyone that hasn't to watch the ENTIRE video exchange with Joe the Plumber ... it's only 6 minutes ...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFC9jv9jfoA

Obama educates this guy, (who obvioulsy had an agenda), on how Obama's plan would have actually helped him buy the company he wanted to buy QUICKER, as he could have saved more money faster.

Watch the whole exchange ... I think Obama does a VERY good job explaining his plan.

Unfortunately, he used the "spread the wealth" phrase which this full 6 minutes has been boiled down to ... but, that's such a misrepresentation of the exchange.
