What I don't get is why the Republican Party does not throw ALL it's fucking weight behind RP. Well... actually... I do get it.

    A) They are too stupid and/or prideful to admit the mistake that was the Iraq war.
    B) They are still in bed with Wall Street.
    C) They are a bunch of religious fanatics who's attitudes are similar to those on the far left.... aka. You better look like us and talk like us or you are not to be trusted. aka. You are the anti-christ if you don't buy into our special interpretation of the Book of Revelations.
    D) All of the fucking above.

    I choose D.

I agree ... though I don't want McPalin in office so I voted for Obama. I voted for Nader in 2000 and got Bush. Obama may not be the ultimate answer ... is there an ultimate?! At least Obama will get us back on track and develop good relations with the world at large, which we are sorely lacking right about now. Gotta start somewhere. That's my 24 cents on the matter.

  • Ron Paul is more pro-big-business than McCain and Obama combined. The guy's a total middle-class-hating douchebag. Yet, nobody cares to research his voting record on the floor, so, his marketability remains extraordinary due to peoples' ignorance.

Interesting perspective ... what is the "real" truth on each candidate? That is the ultimate question as what one says isn't always what one does ...

nader and paul = pissing your vote away, but at least you can "live with yourself"
Let's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken
  • Ron Paul is the man! He has got my vote any day!

People have to vote in what they believe or what aligns with their principles, not in the status quo or to stop from pissing a vote away. Live and learn. I guess what you shared ... "but at least you can 'live with yourself'".

I just hope folks look at this election as a true marker election. We may not have the ultimate candidates, though I as many feel change is needed.

Out of the current two choices one will create change and the other will create more of the same.

It's a choice. Just vote and get your friends to vote. Government works when we exercise our voices. We do have a choice in the matter.
