From Deerborn Michigan ...
you know, the place where all the muslims live.
;)

Ron Paul will be there, though you wouldn't know it from the news coverage on MSNBC today, which failed to mention him at all.

Apparently it isn't airing live, and I hear from FOX that RPaul got some applause for his stance on the war.

DISCUSS THE DEBATE AS IT HAPPENS.
:D

Chris Matthews just got done interviewing Ron Paul live after on Hardball. MSNBC has also shown many clips of Paul's answers during other candidates interviews, pushing them on issues and their answers.

I think he got credible coverage. He deservers more though.
"Music, for me, was fucking heroin." eV (nothing Ed has said is more true for me personally than this quote)

Does MSNBC have a livestream I can watch the debates on? I can't find anything on their site..
No need to be void, or save up on life

You got to spend it all

I watched for 3 hours this morning just to "keep 'em honest" ... during the entire morning, he was not mentioned once.

But I'm glad they aren't trying to pretend he isn't there right while he IS actualy there.

They are broadcasting at 9PM est ...

The debate was actually held around 4PM, i believe, as it is over now, and they are showing clips.

But the ENTIRE debate is scheduled for 9pm primetime broadcast on MSNBC.

Wonder if they are gunna cut the good points out, as to bring the level of debate low enough to be aired at primetime.

  • Wow.
Is this the Fred Guiliomney show or W-H-A-T?

Ron Paul got a whopping ONE question so far.
He got to rant about the Federal Reserve, to which, suprising he got APPLAUSE and not boos.

    WOW!

    :D

    BTW,
    who is this HUNTER guy?
    He seems pretty sharp, too.
And i love the pin stripe.

Guiliani, Romney & Brownback like to hype how great America is. They seem to think blowing smoke up our ass will keep us complacent. They all babble about ethanol and how important it could be. (are they stupid? ethanol is an energy sink!) ... in general i think they are fundamentaly dishonest ... though at least Guiliani has really done some good things for New York as a leader, and at least acknowledges the constitution in regards to line-item veto ... Brownback strikes me as a total shmuck, and Romney seems to think he is the shit.

Tancredo, McCain, and Thompson all appear to be moderately genuine, but probably a bit confused. Of the three I think Thompson is actually the most grounded in reality. McCain seems to pander more and to placate the primary interest in whatever subject he is being asked about. Tancredo i don't even really know about.

Paul, Hunter, and Huckabee are the ones i actually trust the most.
Unfortunately they are also the ones getting nearly zero time to answer questions. They don't all agree with eachother, but they seem to be more principled, and they seem to be the ones most willing to acknowledge the hard truths facing america without blowing this "happy sappy" bullshit up our asses. They may also be the least qualified to run a strong presidency, however. Though i do love their stances ... particuarly Dr. Paul -- come on ... get rid of the CIA, IRS, and Federal Reserve ... FUCK YEAH!

Ron Paul is the only man on that stage with any intelligence, passion, and truthfullness in him.

the rest of these guys make me fucking sick... talking about progress in iraq, how we had to go, how the president could order strikes against iran without congressional approval... if these are leaders of our country we are fucked. they are all liars, cons, cheats, and have sold out to elite intertests and the war machine.

i loved when ron paul freaked out about the iran question. he is the only guy on that side that understands anything. of course you have to have congressional approval. i know that, you know that, and so does he. apparently they dont, or think it is "quaint" and out dated. no wonder we now have more of a dictator then president, they have completely lost their fucking minds. romney saying "you'd have to talk to the lawyers"... what a crock of shit...you talk to CONGRESS and the AMERICAN PEOPLE to get authorization for war... they all just continued to fear monger and blow smoke...while ron paul pointed out that iran is no fucking threat to us, to think different is just a fucking joke. and i LOVE how he pointed out that they were all spewing WAR PROPAGANDA, "preparing the american public for war with iran"

at least one politician on that side has balls, brains, and a conscious

I don't think the democrats do. The republican nomination decides it.

I thought Senator Brownback was the chosen one for the religious right.
