Something non-political.
What ya'll make of this:
Dr. Herman oberth
Wikipedia: He is Front\Center in that photo. This guy was the professor of Wernher von Braun, Mr. V2 Rocket, himself. Sometime during\after the era of Project Paperclip, Dr. Obert became Chief of Astronautics for NASA!

"We cannot take the credit for our record advancement in certain scientific fields alone. We have been helped." When asked by whom, he replied,"The people of other worlds." Dr. Herman Oberth, 1954.

"It is my thesis that flying saucers are real and that they are space ships from another solar system. I think that they possibly are manned by intelligent observers who are members of a race that may have been investigating our earth for centuries. I think that they possibly have been sent out to conduct systematic, long-range investigations, first of men, animals, vegetation, and more recently of atomic centers, armaments and centers of armament production." "These objects are conceived and directed by intelligent beings of a very high order. They probably do not originate in our solar system, perhaps not even in our galaxy." Dr. Hermann Oberth, Army Ballistic Missile Agency and later NASA, 1954.

The bold portion above is also cited seperately in: (Oberth H., "Flying Saucers Come From A Distant World," The American Weekly, October 24, 1954.)

"Today, we cannot produce machines that fly the same as UFO's do. They are flying by means of artificial fields of gravity...this would explain the sudden changes of directions. This hypothesis would also explain the piling up of these discs into a Cylindrical, or cigar shaped mother ship, before leaving the Earth. Because it is in this fashion, that only one field of gravity would be required for all the flying saucers." -Supressed Inventions; J. Eisen; Pg 357; 1972

Found one of the quotes when i started watching this series:
Illuminati: Secret Space Vol I Vol II

hey. cut me some slack.
this is the weekend. ;)

It seems why to unlikely and I don't believe in it. I do believe in alien life. I just don't believe they're flying around in their space ships, picking up chicks, and sometimes dudes, to have some experimental fun with.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

I don't believe in flying saucers, unless hubby and I are in some sort of dispute. ;)

It wasn't that long ago that scientists thought there were NO other planets outside of our galaxy. Then in 1996, everything changed.

  • i guess i just found this interesting because here you have a guy who was Chief of Astronautics for NASA, and was formerly a German rocket scientist (and there is PLENTY of evidence that the NAZIs had flying saucers!) and he is saying, point blank ... "WE HAVE BEEN HELPED BY THE PEOPLE OF OTHER WORLDS".

no one finds that the least bit interesting
    ???

He also seems to KNOW how their craft are functioning.
    "artificial fields of gravity".

    Given his position,
you think he would be in a "need to know" position, perhaps?

  • The Nazi's supposedly had some "flying rods" stashed away in anartica or something...

in any event....to say there is no other life in the universe is to say that not one single cell of life exists anywhere except earth, yet many scientists have come forward to say that life on this planet was in fact populated by bacteria laden meteors. Where there's smoke there is fire.

not one cell of life exits outside this bubble in this universe. I find that EXTREMELY (extremely...extremely...) unlikely.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

cmon now where's the fun in that thought? :p

i have to agree though. i DO think there must be 'intelligent life' elsewhere......the universe...space...it's all too vast....infinite...for us to be IT. abducting humans and all that, errrrmmmmmm...i don't think likely. especially for 'intelligent' beings, i'd think they'd have better use of their time. :D
    Stay with me...
