WHOA!
There are some scary numbers on this page!
If anyone doesn't have a migraine already, you should spend a couple of minutes looking at it.
I'm gonna have to come back and bite off some more if it myself.
this one caught my eye. This is actualy one of the things i was looking for when i stumbled on this page -- a comparison of national debt to m3 money supply. This chart measures the increase in both of those figures over 12 months (for 4 seperate years).
Interesting to note that the month the Fed permanently stopped publishing M3 statistics was like the 2nd or 3rd month where M3 supply was increasing at a rate greater than national debt (something that in ALL the other months over 3 other years happended once!) ... i'm not sure what to even make of that ... but it isn't good ...
hell, not much on that page is "good", if we are talking about the health of our nation's finance.
But i guess ya'll could tell that just looking at the budget thread, and our new half-trillion dollar deficit.
Whoopie.
Guess that M3 supply will be going up yet again!
Go go gadget repurchase agreements!
