Giuliani will bomb the world into submission/oblivion to spread democratic love.

Actually....so will all the mainstream candidates.

    even *gasp* Obama... (big shocker)

that is absolutely false. mcgyver is that you? I didnt know 2 accounts were allowed.

I think pretty much all of them will drop the hammer at the next terrorist incident. I think it's a mistake to think any of them are as anti war as they say they are, and if looking at their advisor's is any further indication, perhaps even more so then that.

The US can't back down on the terrorism situation, and it won't.

This is the catch 22 I'm seeing.

its painful arguing and trying to teach you because...

    1. yo dont understand concepts and apparently still have false idea on whats actually going on in the middle east

    2. you just don't listen....instead you continue your dumbass mannerisms.

and if you dont understand something...you should send a private message...letting visitors to the board know you dont comprehend subjects very well is not wise

yeah, I agree 100%. how soon we al forget the fervor we had after 9/11, the patriotism, the courage to claim our rights to not be intimidated by terrorists, etc. now, we have all gotten fat, stupid and impatient because the war didn't end in the thirty minute sitcom time that most people can muster the attention for and nothing more.

Regardless of who is elected, the US has no choice in the matter, it's all or nothing until the money runs out, or one side is eradicated. The "other side" is not contained to the middle east.

It's almost certainly going to get a a lot worse than it is now. The term spent into oblivion comes to mind. It's going to be an extremely difficult situation to resolve. It may never resolve short of full scale nuclear war, as more countries will get sucked in.

There really is no winning...just losing on both sides.

I'm a realist. Who do you see backing down?

How do you see this situation succeeding is probably a better question.

you are far from a realist. you are the one who believes the US government planted bombs in WTC and the media digitally enhanced our TVs to make us believe planes hit the buildings. your a joke.

my optimistic outlook.....Israel and palestine come to a land agreement, Iraq becomes peaceful and stable. Iran's nutty president leaves office because of 20% inflation in the country. US and Iran get new presidents who may be civil with one another. islamic extremism is isolated in the mountains of pakistan. something like that.

I questioned 9/11. Actually....I still do. I don't proclaim it's my mantra. I posted one...(one)...(that's one)...thread questioning a video of airplanes hoping to have a somewhat reasonable discussion about it, and you went f-ing apeshit over it to the point you're still bringing it up like half a year later. I find it interesting you can dish out insults but when you detect even the slightest nuance of one, you short circuit and switch into into attack mode.

I think when we see wars carrying out in a region for hundreds of years, and decide to get tits deep into the mix, it's not going to be fixed without considerable amounts of consequence and time, I think that is what one could call a realistic interpretation of the situation.

When NYC firefighters dont' even want Guiliani for president maybe you should rethink your support for this corporate whore.
