Ron Paul's Status Update: On Progress, Hope, and Taking on THE Establishment

You want a REAL straight talker, 'eh?
I don't wanna hear nay-saying rhetoric.
If you are gonna trash the possibilities,
instead sit back and ask yourself,
did you ever envision Ron Paul beating Giuliani in EVERY state so far ... did you ever even think he could register at greater than 2% on any ballot? How about 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 percent? How about two second place finishes?
Whether he "makes it" or not ... you can not deny the power of people united in belief of what is true and just.
The fact that it is not a sure-win at this point is evidence ONLY of the overwhelming amount of disinformation and manipulation being pushed on the American people every day of their lives.
Ron Paul is one of FIVE candidates left for the Republican nomination ... one of five left OUT OF TWELVE who ran. He has stomped Giuliani in every state so far, and yet the media STILL talks about the 911 Zero (oops, i meant 'hero') about 100 times more than it mentions Ron Paul.
You can disagree with his position,
or you can be a little cry baby whiner and bitch about his "chances" ...
but if you were true and honest in your assessment, you would see that the man is a true patriot, fighting for real truth, real justice, real hope, and real change ... and doing it in the face of massive apathy, confusion, disillusion, and establishment manipulation. And seeing that, you should be honest enough to at least say, "i appreciate what he is trying to accomplish."
When people like Steve Forbes and Jim Rogers are saying positive things about the man, you know his fiscal aims aren't bullshit ... they are backed by the mouths of some of the most successful business men of our times.
When the US Comptroller General is saying things that 100% back what Ron Paul is saying ... how can you possibly argue "Ron Paul is a fool. He doesn't know what he is talking about. It would be a disaster." ... You have the goddamn Comptroller General telling you disaster is already coming, it's already here!
???
Truth.

It is going to be a brokered convention so Ron Paul is going to have more swing than people realize, its just he won't likely accept a VP job in anyone's bid for the WH. He's gunna have to bargain for the top spot I guess.
You got to spend it all

Lol.
You realize the lunacy of what you are suggesting?
"The Secretary along with the Treasurer must sign Federal Reserve notes before they can become legal tender."
You think they are gonn let ole Ron be in charge of determining the "Legal Tender" status of FRNs ???
Lol.
He could stop the whole system overnight with that power!
"The Chief Financial Officer of the government, the Secretary serves as [ ...] U.S. Governor of the International Monetary Fund, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development."

Mike Gravel tirelessly campaigning. Says he likes his chances of winning.
yea I know thats why I asked. you say he is highly respected amount the top financial brass. but any candidate would not want him near the treasury.

He is respected by people like Forbes and Rogers because his policy view would bring LONG TERM stability to the currency and the markets ...
Those people are positioned to withstand, and ultimately would like to see a return to true commodity money.
If you don't understand the inherent and multitudinous dangers of pure fiat currency, then you don't stand a chance of grasping the urgency of the crisis this country is facing.

He will be gifted the congratulatory AIPAC supermax butt plug and gyrating dildo set, assorted blue and white pom poms, and certidied Mossad rectal stretching kit upon winning the election.

I do understand. probably not as much as you but the pending "crisis" seems to not have materialized even though you predict it daily.
Oh really.
What does gold at 924 an ounce mean to you, then?
You think that is just "flight to safety"?
That is inflation Jlew.
Lets start the Creature From Jekyll history lesson now:
page 180 ...
"In 1810, the House of Commons created a special committee, called the Select Committee on the High Price of Gold Bullion, to explore the problem and to find a solution. The verdict handed down in the final report was a model of clarity. Prices were not going up, it said. The value of the currency was going down, and that was due to the fact that it was being created at a faster rate than the creation of goods to be purchased with it. The solution? The committee recommended that the notes of the Bank of England be made fully convertible into gold coin, thus putting a brake on the supply of money that could be created."
So, England "figured it out" TWO HUNDRED YEARS AGO.
What do you think has changed in 200 years that has FUNDAMENTALY altered how fiat money "works"?
If you don't see the "crisis" materializing before you, you are purposely putting on blinders.
Gimme a fukin' break, Jlew.

huh.

How come you only ever seem to make personal jabs at Ron Paul?
Don't you have some sort of substantial policy criticism that you can hurl out instead of endlessly berating him for no apparent reason?

I'm not disagreeing with you about the problem. but inflation is not as bad you think it is. neither is this "crisis"
... oh really?
Why did the Feds pull M3 in 2006?
If you can't explain to me why the Government would suddenly feel uncomfortable showing the world how much money was in circulation, i don't want to hear it.
From everything i understand the M3 money supply was aimed basicaly straight at the roof the last time it was published. Like real inflation running at something like 17%? [with all the bullshit our government spends money on, do you fucking buy this excuse? "It costs a lot to collect the data but doesn't provide significantly useful information" -- wikipedia]
Why is the price of a Hershey bar just announces to be raised by THIRTEEN PERCENT?
And if you say "oil prices" ... well that is inflation, buddy.

i really just like fucking with you. you're so easy.
besides, i joked about kucinich there, too. you don't see his supporters responding like whiny babies.
ron paul actually has SOME good ideas, but he's also kooky and not electable. so he makes for a fun punching bag.

Hey it's all good fun, right?
Can you articulate any of what you find to be "kooky" about the positions, advocations, or admonishments of Dr. Ron Paul ?
Specificaly.
Thank you.

That won't be happening....it requires knowledge of politics and economics beyond a McDonalds level.
Toss a camera around the neck, and slap a tourist sign on it...
