Disgruntled "Paultards" Short FOX Stock - Move It Down Near 52 Week Low

ROFL.
They said they were gonna do this,
after Fox announced it would not let Ron in to the "Forum" on the 6th.

Organized and spammed message boards everywhere (investment boards too) notifying people of intent to sell shares of News Corp. stock.

Look at the Chart!

Down about 1.2%

Maybe you think that is not impressive.
But it cracks me up.

Just pray no evil insiders or insidious counter-trenders come in to buy at a "deal" ... i see they have 4 hour old affiliate-station sales news too ... dunno if that is a factor.

But gap down open means probably was started by paultards and not news (unless you think news corp would violate SEC law and inside trade!)

    I highly doubt this has anything to do with paultards. this company has a market cap of 62 billion. a few broke college kids selling short is not going to move this stock.

    RP's (record breaking) donations are coming from somewhere. Gotta have it to spend it, so this does situation not surprise me.

    The entire RP movement is very organized and committed.
    Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
    and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
    over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    Well that is the EXACT reasoning i gave AGAINST them doing this, but i am actualy willing to concede that if its a few THOUSAND of them, and they also spammed this EVERYWHERE for investors to see, i can see OTHERS jumping on board to short. Either out of speculation, or just to cover part of their long positions in case, or whatever.

    I was highly dubious of this attempt when they announced it on the board. In fact, i argued against it 3 or 4 times, citing market cap and volume statistics -- to mostly deaf ears.

    But numbers don't lie, do they?

    Is selling affiliate stations at profit reason for the stock to take such a dramatic 1 day dip?

    Hell i don't know.
    I know jack shit about the broadcast\cable industry.

    But the timing sure is a great "feel good" for all those in on this short. (not me).
