Glenn Beck Really Confuses Me

Yeah.

I just don't get the guy.

Sometimes he is so on the fucking money, and then others he acts like an idiot.

He will talk Ron Paul trash to no end, smacking him down, calling him an idiot and saying he doens't "get it".

Then the next day he will spend an entire show talking about "global socialists" and politicians who want to sell your soverignty, and Citibank selling your soverignty to Abu Dhabi.

He has some damn good analysis about the ills and perils of government, and he really seems to "get" what is going on behind closed doors where politics and commerce intersect.

Yet,
when he is done ranting about that,
he will go right back to blowing smoke up your ass on something else.

How does he switch off and on from being a seemingly honest guy rating out socialists and self-serving politicians, and go right over to the "dark" side puffing your with typical media propaganda?

Does he have some deal with his producers, where they let him be "honest" 50% of the time, but the other half he has to sell their lies?

    The only thing I've seen from him was about misandry, and I only watched about 30 seconds of it.

    It's on purpose. He seems legitimate in some key areas to gain acceptance and credibility before he gets around to setting his sights on the intended target. It's the evolution of spin and propaganda.
    Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
    and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
    over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    ... when you know that stuff, it is actualy easier to form your own opinions.

    i'm just trying to decipher Glenn Beck a bit.

    SIDE NOTE:
    In orlando, fl over thanksgiving weekend i saw a glenn beck billboard that had some slogan on the bottom like "telling the truth" ... and it was like "S" written over the "T" in telling and truth crossed out and spray painted with "FASCISM" in red paint ... 'Selling FASCISM" ...

    i thought that was great.

    I always thought Glenn Beck was some kind of fake ultraconservative character that liberals made up to make them look smart. He just sounds really really stupid to me.

    You know, kinda like the Left's answer to Fox's Alan Colmes.

    He reminds me of one of the loudmouth sports talk radio hosts. On a slow news day, he will take some extreme far out position on something, just to get a reaction from people.

    I view some political pundits as more of news or journalism types, but Beck just seems more of and entertainment type to me.

    so you consider glen beck your enemy?. . .ive never seen the show, but its not passed off as a news show, is it? i was under the impression that its just another political spin show, am i wrong in this?. . .if you dont like what he is saying there are 10000 other political shows on. . .as ed once said, i fucking hate politics. . .

    Beck is the current "it" guy on spin tv. He's got people watching, but the total sum of where he may be able to take it is dubiously absent in action.

    Just another political spin show passing off nonsense as legitimate fact. Acceptance of that scenario is, by and large, one of the many things wrong with the media.

    give me an example of the nonsense past off as fact. . .politicians and most people who cover them are generally by trade windbags and liars. . .everybody has an agenda. . .judge them by their actions not their words
