    I have just about lost ALL optomism.

    The fact that so many here can't even come to grips with the fact that we are fairly evidently smack dab in the throws of recession is clue number one that tells me: there is no hope -- America is fucked.

    And you know what,
    even if it is largely the fault of a system that is attempting to keep you dumb and numb, it is still fitting that we should all have to suffer for our ignorance.

    We are getting what we deserve.
    We were wreckless, wanton, and wasteful ... and we've come to learn precious little from our precarious situation.

    Look around you.
    99% of America is still in the FIRST step of recovery ... remember what that is?
