Okay, folks.
For all those doubting that the US Government would kill its own to start a war, one only needs to brush up on the history of the sinking of the Lusitania.

here is a recounting of a great deal of research and primary document sourcing that occurs in The History of Jekyll Island, by G. Edward Griffin.

I wish i still had the book available to quote directly, but i just finished it and lent it to my buddy, in exchange for Old Boys, a history of the interconnected founding of Bilderberg, the establishment, and the CIA.

Anyhow, the article contains the jist of it all.
The book itself provides incontrovertable source document quotation proving that the financial interests (primarily JP Morgan, serving as a fiduciary for the Rothschild dynasty) involved in WWI prior to America's entry were desperate for a fresh infusion of cash.

Basicaly the British government was severely overdrawn on it's millions of dollars of credit with JP Morgan (who was acting as the middle man, or market maker, to get the British their supplies).

Wilson's "other me" [the man behind the curtain], Col. House, had sent cable to the British informing them that public sentiment in Europe was failing, due to the heavy cargo losses the British were sustaining at the hands of German submarines.

The British (contrary to publicly held myth) were in deep shit. They were losing. They were out of money. Their financeers were out of patience. And they were facing a surrender.

IF the British had surrendered, the Morgans\Rothschilds would have LOST all of their money. Their debts would NOT be honored by the Germans.

They HAD to figure out a way to draw America in to war to finance the rest of the battle.

HISTORICAL MEMOS CONCLUSIVELY SHOW THAT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.
There are cables between US and British officials EXPLICITLY stating that the ONLY way forward was to TRANSFER THE BALANCE OF FINANCIAL RESPONSIBLITY DIRECTLY TO THE US TREASURY

The Germans tried to warn the people of America.
The United States Government blocked this warning.
The US Government also loaded the Lusitania sky high with explosives,
not only provoking the Germans (forcing them, really) to destroy the Lusitania, but also deliberately planning the death of 1000+ civilians (100+ Americans).

The US called off the warship escort and sent the Lusitania on to her perilous doom.

Oh.
FYI a great footnote to history: The Lusitania was one of only TWO major passenger ocean liners NOT owned by JP Morgan. He was more than happy to watch that poor ship sink with women and children on board.

You are right for once, it WAS a 9/11 type event. They are similar in that they were both attacks on american (and other) civilians from a foreign enemy. Good job, drifting!


now why you are wrong:


1. the germans did warn US citizens that it was sinking british ships around UK (an admission of guilt? no, of course not!). The US government DID NOT and could not block these warnings. indeed warnings were posted alongside advertisements. Also, GERMANY AND BRITAIN WERE AT WAR AT THE TIME, so unless you were unbelievably clueless, you knew there was risk. Do you think the almighty and all-knowing government could have hid that fact? I'm sure you do. you seem to think the government is so perfect that it can do pretty much whatever it wants without anyone noticing.

2. a ship wouldnt have needed to be laden with explosives to be sunk by a Uboat. German U-boats were more than capable of sinking ships. Even if it were full of explosives, that only proves the US was guilty of funnelling weapons to Britain. It would have been pointless to fill a ship up with explosives just to help the germans do something they were more than capable of doing anyway. Why would the gov't use a convoluted conspiracy to put themselves in a position to be implicated when it was completely unnecessary? Here's where your good ole conspiracy TIN HAT bullshit comes in!

3. the americans forced the germans to blow it up? now i've heard it all.

was it completely shocking that a civilian ship got blown up in a warzone? probably not. did the allies use the event to their advantage? of course. So you are right, it IS just like 9/11.

oh number 4: Contrary to popular belief, the Lusitania didnt galvanize the Americans into entering the war. it was about TWO FUCKING YEARS before we entered the war. So i guess the master plan failed.

oh and in the TWO FUCKING YEARS between the sinking of the Lusitania and the US's entry into the war, Germany resumed unrestricted submarine warfare after previously halting it, sank five unarmed American freighters and another british ship with a loss of 38 American lives.

were they all planned too?

How much British territory did the Germans occupy during WWI?? If they were in such dire straits, why did the Germans not finish them off in the two years prior to U.S. entry...especially with the collapse of the Eastern front in 1917.

I don't think you understand what i'm saying.
I'm not saying the Germans had overwhelming military superiority, or that the MILITARY defeat of Britian was imminent.

What i am saying is that Britain was OUT OF CREDIT.

You can't fight a war WITHOUT MONEY!

What i am telling you is that the people who were funding the British government were DONE floating loans to it.

England was already OVERDRAW by something like 400 MILLION dollars (a HUGE sum back then) in its total debts to international financeers.

i think, my friend, that you as well have missed the mark.

See,
the US Government DID try to supress the seriousness of danger imposed on the passengers of the Lusitania.

This was not just ANY ship entering trecherous waters.
It was a ship ILLEGALY LOADED WITH MUNITIONS.

The germans knew this.
Not only did they send an ambassator to the US Embassy to protest, saying that the munitions COULD BE SEEN AT THE LOADING DOCKS BEING RAISED ABOARD THE VESSELL, they also had THREE SPIES whom were all arrested and taken below decks after the ship departed.

As far as the warnings. The US Government THREATENED THE NEWS PAPERS WITH LIBEL LAWSUITS for running that German Notice, and in fact that notice ran in only ONE news paper on the date requested by the Germans.

After this supression, the Germans were SO COMMITTED to trying to warn passengers, that they then sent that ambassator to the US Embassy complaining (see above) and insisted that the notice be RE-RUN in papers the next morning!

The munitions were aboard, because it being in violation of international treatise regarding NEUTRALITY (remember, we were supposed to be NEUTRAL !?!?!) would then force Germany to sink the ship.

If you were in a war, and knew a ship was coming through with LARGE quantities of munitions to give to the OTHER side in this conflict, wouldn't YOU feel the need to sink that vessel?

As far as America not entering the war until 1917, this is NOT contradiction of this theory, it only shows that history is more complex than international bankers\war criminals would some times want.

W. Wilson was a deeply conflicted man, an internationalist who often proselytized about peaceful world government, Wilson did NOT want war. He wanted to isolate America from war, and find a way to bring about a world government structure that would AVERT war. In fact, THE FIRST USAGE OF THE TERM "NEW WORLD ORDER" CAME FROM WILSON HIMSELF, AFTER WWI, in reference to the League of Nations!

I think it was totally misguided, and by the end of his life, Wilson (i believe quotes show) also realized this. However, wilson was being manipulated by forces much larger than his own personal desires, and the Lusitania (as the propaganda CLEARLY demonstrates) was CERTAINLY used as a large catalyst to encouraging America's entry in to the war, belated though it was.

I'm still not sure what your argument really is.

Most of what you said is just flat out false.
The Americans encouraged\forced the Germans to sink the Lusitania in particular, because of the munitions THEY loaded aboard it.

They then tried to suppress the German notice to the American people,

and then furthered the crisis by REMOVING THE ESCORT.

And basicaly your arguments hold little water (har har) in the face of those charges.
