Does anyone know much about the PJ tribute band No code? They are playing in AC at the house of blues tonight and I wanna go. Anyone already going?
They just dont understand what it means to love some silly little peice of music, or some band, so much that it HURTS.

it's mostly a ribbing for tony. ;) rocco is/was a very nice guy too though. :p and no, i don't think so? think the last time i saw no code was one of rocco's final performances? at the then-named lion's den. i've got my own musician-husband to see at gigs, so don't make many of these things, but i WILL be at the MSG pre-party, so you'll have your shot. :D haha.

Any word on when No Code will take the stage at the pre-party? If it's not too late that day may call for a long lunch break.

Hey, why doesn't anyone ever write that Tony is one of the funniest people ever? Do the internal machinations of one's own mind not count?

Gotta figure it'll be either 1:00 or 2:00, but the call will ultimately be Wishlist's. Thanks for asking, though, and we hope to see you there.

...Seth had some pretty big shoes to fill in replacing Rocco, No Code's founding member and most dominant personality. Lucky for us, we found someone with even bigger feet. Check out his axe work on "Sad" at http://www.myspace.com/nocodejam.

As if that wasn't enough, the boy can quack with the best of them. Bottom line: we can only hope that Seth is as happy with us as we are with him. - Tony

Actually, my statement was on target. I characterize a personality as "dominant" when you know when that person is in the room, as the expression goes. I fly a bit lower on the radar, though not below it (insert icon of choice here). - Tony

Randy Satarsky is a tattooed drum god. Or at least that's the impression I get from his e-mail address.

As per "shameless," for the purpose of rationalizing all the promotion of faux Pearl Jam that occurs with alarming frequency on this message board, we subscribe to a narrow interpretation of that term. (Not too self-serving, huh?)

If you happened to attend that previous tribute show with female friends, and if those same lasses were to accompany you on May 2, they'd know right away whether the lot of you have seen No Code before. It'll become obvious the moment you hear one of them say, "Ah, I recognize that devastatingly handsome chap at the mic." (Note to dream: See, I'm funny after all.)
