"The Answer Is Impeachment" ... "There's No Running Away From That."

What else can congress do?
Well.
Listen to a former representative ... right at the end of this clip.
THERE'S NO RUNNING AWAY.

The whole thing.

I think the point is in the words that come before the "answer".
When questions arise over what to do about a president who deems himself ABOVE the law, and UNaccountable to ANY laws of the people (thus, making him a TYRANT), then there is no avoiding the plain truth ... the truth that IMPEACHMENT IS the answer.
I'm not saying this has any great relevance this close to a new election,
I'm saying that America needs to remember that THIS is and will REMAIN the answer.
That one can not expect to sheep away from the necessary duty, and hope to find some more "amicable" solution. The solution is to throw the motherfucker out!
If I opened it now would you not understand?
A lot of harm can be done in a just a few months but the bigger reason is accountability. I believe people should be held accountable for their actions. It isn't about how long he has left in office...it's about the things he has done.

I don't believe he's done anything illegal (and neither do most people or this would have happened already).
Speaking of being accountable - have you turned yourself in for stealing government property yet?
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
are you saying you've never once driven a car above the speed limit - have you turned yourself in? ... really - can we not be above posts like this here?
in any case - i hear this book lays out why he needs to be impeached
http://www.amazon.com/Prosecution-George-W-Bush-Murder/dp/159315481X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1217248267&sr=1-1
Apparently we can't.
I wasn't calling for accountability, though. Nor have I admitted to being unremorseful about stealing.

Dude it was a funny post.
When Abook and the Bong dude stole the sign...no one died!!!! I can hear the chant now!!!!
Of course, they stole some tax $.
I for one am glad there is (in most places) no statute of limitations on charging someone for murder.
Bush and Co. are war criminals. I want them held accountable for their actions.

you're actually comparing an act of civil disobedience to what GWB has done in the last 8 years? Heck - maybe Rosa Parks should've turned herself in way back when.
You can guess what happened....they got arrested....not Rove.
Give these guys a free pass, and you'll get reinfected...probably a lot worse then the first rounds of infestation.

Now how many of those are truly illegal?

Nope. Just calling out someone who is professing a belief in accountability (apparently only when it goes against their beliefs, though).
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
Theft = Civi Disobedience?
Man, I can't wait to perform an act of civil disobedience on your car.
Rosa Parks did "turn herself in"...she did what she did right out in front of people...that's civil disobedience...
Anyhow, I love this topic.
....regardless of words and semantics
That's kinda what happened, and deliberately.

stealing a sign = being responsible for killing 1 million+ people?
Who said that they equaled each other?
A poster who is an admitted thief made a statement about being accountable for your actions. The equation was about accountability, not about comparing the two supposed crimes.
I truly believe that poor reading comprehension is behind a lot of liberal ideology. That and hypocrisy.
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
I can't get over the fact that the list of supposed illegal acts is comprised mainly of things that aren't illegal.
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
what was the purpose of stealing the sign? ... to OWN the sign itself? ... no, it was an act to make the job of recruiting people for a senseless war harder ...
but in any case - you can't even remotely compare the two ... i say if you do - then you are only seeking to distract yourself from what is the crux of the issue ...
and I'm not a liberal.
Quite a few of them.
And many of the rest float in some vague grey area between negligence and malfeasance. Of course, i'd say they are acts malfeasance disguised (dumbed down) as negligence ... which seems to be the MO of the entire administration.
But whatever.
