I thought it took that movie to another level. good stuff. I new Eds long Ramones speech would eventually pay off.

    I just watched it today. I had no idea he was in the movie. Quite a surprise.

    You guys are such fanboys. That movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. You can't be serious. That movie sucked! Ed didn't make the movie any better. What a waste of time that was. The movie is a spoof on Johnny Cash. I get that it is suppose to be corny but it still sucked. I usually like slapstick comedy movies but this one was pathetic. If you liked this movie you either are trying too hard or you are just blinded by your Eddie Vedder fanboy brain.

    I bought the 2 disc edition, and in the special features under the outtakes, they have Ed's entire speech. It's absolutely hysterical.

    The commentary was awesome for that part, they got Eddie to do it and he came in thinking he had to say a couple of words, but was handed four pages of dialog. He was a little pissed, so the director pulled him aside and assured him it was something he could be proud of and did the whole thing on one take. Kind of easy when you're reading right off the script, I suppose, but nevertheless...the man has a place in Hollywood when the music is over.

    Ed's speech was really cool, the movie was not as good as I hope it was going to/or could have been, it had some funny moments but overall nothing to rave about.

    Are you ever positive, it was a cool part in a spoff, exactly, so we are fanboys becasue we laugh at comedies, and someone we value enough to post on his bands measage board was in a comedy.

    I saw the movie today it was pretty bad...the best part was when the Beatles were in it. Other than that it sucked. The girl from the Office has a nice rack though.

    The Beatles scene cracked me up. The rest of the movie was so-so. A few laughs, but not as funny overall as I'd hoped.

    The movie had its funny parts, but the last half of it just kind died until Eddie was on and then it was kinda good again. The "Duet with Me" song is fucking hilarious though.

    I didn't really dig on the movie either. Pam from the Office is hot. And Ed's part was funny. There were a couple mildly amusing parts, but overall it didn't make me laugh.

    I thought it was a shite film. The only bit worth noting was Ed's bit (cue reference to Hall of fames speeches).

    I guess I was expecting something a bit more serious.
