    oh yes... lol :D

I was a real "maverick" when it came to essay questions on college Spanish exams. :D There were two or three different topics I could comfortably write or speak about in Spanish, and I always went back to those, regardless of the question.

I thought the question was going to be specified as:

"gotten a job for which they were woefully underprepared"?
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

I'm sorry but I'm just not going to answer the question that the OP or anyone else may want me to answer, I'm going to speak straight to the Pearl Jam public.

    What can I say, I'm a maverick.

  • When I was a student in Michigan, I was asked all kinds of questions. Questions on exams, in class, by teachers, professors and students. And I gave them all kinds of answers, darn right! The questions were about what I thought or what I knew, what was correct. And I answered those questions, you betcha! And I did it, also, with straight talk, right to the persons or paper asking those questions. When it comes to answering questions, I'm a maverick, what can I say? *wink*

  • oh ya know, coming from a family with a track record of school teachers, i know the importance of taking exams. my dad was a school teacher, my uncle joe was a school teacher, my neighbor's second cousin's stepbrother was a school teacher... and i'd like to give a shout out to my homies in his 3rd grade class, straight up. remember kids, don'tcha worry bout citing sources in the bibliographies in your reports, just be a source-readin' maverick and tell your professors you used textbooks... any of them, all of them, whatever was at the library, you read 'em all. you betcha!

I would go for the essay questions because I knew I could just write a bunch of stuff and BS my way through it. If you ramble on long enough the person reading forgets what they asked you or figures you at least made an effort by writing so much. It works in debates too. ;)
