Anyone else have a real desire to live in the usa during the election? I have this drive to live and breath in the ecstacy of campaigning for someone who inspires you. i feel quite sad that politics in britain is making me quite apathetic, and indeed quite sad :(

Even our politicians are apathetic towards the government here.

Have no desire like yours, but i think i can relate in other ways, i do truly want to/always have to believe wholeheartedly in a cause, be it save the whales, the pro seatbelt lobby (?), something, anything, but alas i know im just a lazy git who enjoys a few drinks at the weekend with good music.

I have a burning desire to be involved in a riot though, not joking either.

Personally, I'm ok here and don't necessarely want to be in the US...
I prefer the way politics work in Europe.

i do not know much about politics in belgium but recently there have been a lot of reports abuot politicians in the eu parliment scamming as much money as they can. its really disturbing no one can seem to get the whole system to open up and make claiming expenses etc transparent.
