Have you ever been approached on the street by the people that work for his PAC? I've gotten into several yelling matches with people who are trying to convince me that they're going to impeach Dick Cheney (the dude is only in office for 2 more years, who gives a shit!). When I decline they always get real smug and accuse me of not being active (I work full time for a political organization, that always bums them out). Has anyone else ran into these people?

    Oh yeah when I was at UW they would sometimes show up. They were always harassing people. Totally idiots. I know that Sapperskunk has some good stories about Larouche's douches and him getting into it. I always liked it when they would approach me and preach their craziness and I would tell them I voted for Bush twice. They always got so upset they looked like they were going to shit themselves. UW always had crazy people on campus preaching strange stuff.

    See, thats funny. I'm a die hard liberal and those guys piss me off. I think street canvassers accomplish nothing honestly. There are more effective ways at building a grass roots network.

    Yeah, I've been approached by them. I'm pretty liberal myself, but I don't like those guys too much...and I don't think they're gonna accomplish a goddamn thing.

    yeah, i saw one of these dumbasses at the supermarket once - a very zombified individual. not knowing what else to do, i humored her and took her pamphlet about "Beast Man Cheney", which is quite hilarious.

    I used to get harassed by these people at concerts and outside the Metro. Now they aren't around as much anymore but the "Stop Bitching Start a Revolution" crew seems to be everywhere.
