Senate to vote on ending war funding

The article states that there is an alternate bill that would fund the war but troops have to start pulling out by Oct 1. then it mentions that the president would have the authority to override that part of the bill.

My questions why even bother adding that provision if you are not going to hold to it.

    Political posturing... People who vote for it can go on TV and say that they voted to bring the troops home.

    I'm doing ok. Friday would have been my 10 year anniversary so that pretty much sucked ass, but besides that I'm good. how about you.
