Just received a breaking news update about NY Gov. Elliot Spitzer being involved with a prostitution ring. He is scheduled to hold a press conference in a few minutes.

    NEW YORK - The New York Times is reporting that Gov. Eliot Spitzer has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring.

    On its Web site, the newspaper cites an anonymous administration official as the source and says Spitzer was meeting with his top aides.

    Spitzer officials wouldn't immediately comment on the story to The Associated Press. An announcement was scheduled for 2:15 p.m. at his Manhattan office.

    New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has informed his most senior administration officials that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, the New York Times reported on its Web site on Monday, citing an administration official.

    There were no further details of what his involvement may have been.

    Spitzer was due to make an announcement at 2:15 p.m. EDT (1815 GMT), the Times said.

    I can't remember a more disappointing politician. I live in Albany, and there was a lot of honest excitement about him replacing Pataki and the changes that he would bring.

    I see him on Capital 9 News a lot. Based on his appearance, it doesn't surprise me b/c he always seemed like a perv, one of those kinky types too. :p

    I'm for real, and I'm surprised that you would rule that out as a reason why men cheat. It may not be the only reason, but I do know that for some people, it is a reason. So I would question whether you are for real.
