Bush taps general to coordinate war efforts

Does this mean that Bush is no longer Commander-in-Chief? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the job of the President.

    I guess this is Bush's way of winning wars and protecting the country, add a nother layer of bureacracy.

    CBS is calling Lute a "War Czar"

    Many are calling for the immediate impeachment of Bush and Cheney when Lute's position is confirmed by congress.
    Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
    and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
    over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    Lt. Gen. Douglas Lute = scapegoat when the war is a bigger mess 6 months from now.

    Since Bush doesn't want to hold anyone accountable for this horrendous war, he can bring someone into blame down the road.

    Was bush ever commander-in-chief? I thought he was just a dumb puppet.
