The poster was created some time ago. I just thought it was an amazing use of popular advertising/imagery to get across a point.

It definitely works to get that shock effect when those two completely different worlds collide into one piece. I think the poster is very good.

I agree with the underlying message, but I still feel that this poster insults my intelligence, sorry. There are better ways to criticize the Iraq war ... That image? Come on ... Why not toss in an image of a infant-sacrificing satanic cultist, while we're at it? you know, eating an Iraqi baby?

Hey everyone has a right to their opinion, nothing wrong with that.

One of the best ways to create an urban legend is to associate either Nazis or the KKK with one's target ... Groups almost everyone reviles. Want to make up something horrifying about ... say, KFC? Then make up a story about how Colonel Sanders willed 10% of all KFC's profits to the KKK. Total BS, but it spooks people and they start to buy into it. Now, the Iraq war sucking isn't exactly an urban legend. My opinion is that this is darn near close to fact. But its the same tactic ... Associating something loathesome with one's target in a simple soundbyte or "eyebyte" fashion. Not a fan of these tactics. Like mammasan said, my opinion. I'm not a fan because they can be used for evil as well as good ...

well, that certainly is interesting, but i was talking, only, of the fact that the technique employed makes people take notice...and that's what they want.
