Many of you have heard me speak about the terrorist known as Luis Posada Carriles. He is currently being detained in Texas for illegal entry into this country. Posada is more infamous for being a participant in the 1976 bombing of a Cubana airliner killing all 73 passangers and crew aboard. The Venezuelan government has made many attempts to have Posada Carriles extradited back to Venezuala to face trial. The US has refused to grant the extradition even though the US has had an extradition treaty with Venezuala since 1922. The US government sites insuffecient evidence even though both the CIA, FBI, and governing administration from 1976 have stated that they believed without a doubt that Carriles was involved in the bombing. I have provided a link to a site where a petition can be signed to attempt to prevent the release of a well known terrorist. I ask you to look into the case and if you see the injustice as I do please sign the petition. How can we state to be fighting a war against terrorism when we allow them to roam free in our streets.

It's really fucking sad. Here we are waging this supposed War on Terrorism meanwhile our government is on the verge of letting known terrorist free to roam our streets. Maybe it's about time someone takes us to task for harboring terrorists."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

that's what the so-called liberals do!! ... but of course, that's anti-american and unpatriotic and of course america only does good now ...0 -
I am disappointed that more people are not angered by this. After everything that has transpired in the past 6 years in regards to terrorism and we are allowing our government to harbor one."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0

He's not a "Terrorist" if he kills people we don't like.
...
That's my guess.

Wow you are just too funny. Being that it was Bush Sr. who granted Orlando Bosch, another person implicated in the Cubana Air bombing and the assasination of Orlando Letelier, a pardon and Bush Jr. who is refusing to extradite Posada Carriles. I would assume that the Bush family who has trouble identifying a terrorist."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -
I'm only vaguely familiar with this case. Googling, I found this interesting declassified document sent to Kissinger.

Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch where both, for sometime, employeed by the CIA. Both men hwere implicated in the Cubana bombing, the assasination of Orlando Letelier, and countless other assasination/bombing attempts and attacks. The CIA, FBI, and other government officials close to these cases have stated, for the record, that both men where heavily involved in the planning and/or execution of both attacks and many others. With the help of Otto Reich, Orlano Bosch was brought into the US and was granted a pardon by Bush Sr. Now it seems that Posada Carriles will probabaly be released. Neither will have answered for their crimes and we have the US government to thank for that."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -
no one is interested because like nicholson said in a few good men - "you can't handle the truth" ...
it is like any other issue facing people - ignorance is bliss ... ignorance allows one to continue to not feel guilty and not feeling guilty is what its all about ...0 -
