It seems that his own people are growing a bit tired of his schtick. All the more reason to stay away from any type of military action against Iran.

Capitalism and liberalism will ultimately prevail. With technology and communication spreading to all corners of the world it will be sooner rather than later........everyone wants freedom, beer and boobies......soooo if we can just keep our leaders from postponing this inevitable end by blowing the crap out of the people of the world...we'll get to nervana much sooner.

    Wow, that’s cool.
Reads like even the old man is getting sick of his shit, not just a bunch of dissident students.

    uhhh….To… do… what? Remove Ahmadinejad?

I’m not an expert on Iran but beings as Khamenei is the Supreme Leader I think he could just fire Ahmadinejad’s ass or have him killed. Or just stop inviting him to the meetings like it read in the article…

To remove Ahmadinejad is simple. It seems that the man may be on the way out as it is. Instituting a true democracy will be a whole different problem. I believe it will happen but it will take time. We can aid in that transition by establishing ties with Iran and applying subtle influence.

Well, I read in the paper that Ahmadinejad's party didn't secure more than 5% of the votes in a recent local election. And apparently, there is a lot of public debate in the papers these days about what's going on, and what the right stance is.

  • i just think iran has a shot at falling into a long period of civil unrest..... people with rocks going after people with guns..... this is just what we dont need to happen.... but in reality i think iran has some cards under the table...

remove him....that'll be the day he'll have them all rounded up and murdered before he lets that take place. Then he'll blame the US and Israel for the killings.

Do you know anything about Iran. The Ayatollah has the final say in that country. The minute Ahmadinejad even blinks the wrong way he is done.
