Not one of these "front runners" has been able to actually disprove anything he said. They simply BS it off as if it's lunacy.

Most people don't care I know. Most idiots still think "they hate us for our freedom" and hey, that's the average voter, most people are stupid, but everything he said is the truth.

Our Foreign policy is why the majority of the rest of the world has any beef with us at all.

Does this make me an elitist? :embarrassed:

I mean really, dispute that US policies in the region are the primary reason for islamic terror groups anger with the United States.

You'd have to be a damned fool not to agree with that statement.

I agree. Most people don't care because they'd rather watch American Idol than learn a goddamn thing about anything useful. Always reminds me of Ed's Beast of Burden. "I just wanna live life and be dumb and happy like an American".......

It is so damn frustrating seeing the other candidates and their mind numb pundits mock Ron Paul when he is stating the truth. His statements are supported by many experts and even the 9/11 commission stated the same thing.

I am starting to feel that Ron Paul shouldn't win simply because the people of this country are to fucking lazy and stupid to deserve a person like him as president. We get what we deserve and that is why we have the worst presidents in US history.

very good point. btw, rudy g is a motherfuckin' idiot. And how could people applaud him for making fun of Paul's suggestion? It's clearly the only thing that makes sense. I'm telling you, this country is way too involved in playing follow the leader and too fuckin' lazy to do anything but what we're told. I hate what this country has turned into. We've got to take it back.

"A Giuliani campaign official could not confirm whether he had read any of the books on Paul's list."

you'd think he'd be able to confirm he read the 9-11 commission report AT LEAST.

If only people would pay attention to anything Ron Paul is saying. Or even what Rudy's rep is saying. My god, how ridiculous to even have to wonder if he's read the 9-11 commission report.

it is TOTALLY amazing that people still support rudy...what exactly did he DO on 911 that made him so damn great....whats really sad is what this older man told me yesterday...he is like 68 and i work with him...i was trying to tell him about ron paul and he said, "That guy is a wacko..." I said, "How is he a wacko?" he goes on to tell me that ron pauls views are wacko and they would never work....i just walked away saddened by the fact that this older man basically just told me that our constitution cant work anymore....our freedom and liberty doesnt work anymore....as long as people think like that, he will never get elected...im doing my damnest trying to get the word out...its up to the youth...we need to yank the damn xbox controllers out of their hands and EDUCATE THEM...if ron paul doesnt win this election, you will witness the death of american democracy...or whats left of it....

I completely agree with Paul's statement & views about terrorism. However, I do not buy into most of his libertarian views as i believe they are based off of false premises.

in giving Rudy that reading list. Whether Rudy reads those books or not is his problem. Then again, so are all his other problems.

As I just posted in another thread that mentions Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich, I would like to know why they both don't run as Independents and raise money off of all their internet followers.

The energy that we all spend arguing over Dems and Repubs could be spent campaigning for a third party.

I myself have been giving money to my chosen Dem candidate, Obama, but if he was one of the Dems who is voting for the Iraq bill today or tomorrow, I'll be cutting off my funding.

Perhaps Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich could find a way to build a bridge....and a third party? If not, I hope Rudy at least adds Ron's books to his reading list over the long weekend.

Obama voted against it... i too would have lost all interest in him and never looked back if he voted yes on war funding today. Rudi should be publicly humiliated every day by every candidate for the until he bows out of the race for being so ignorant. they have him dead to rights admitting he has "never heard" of the insane notion that or policies are the reason we were attacked. Everyone should pounce on that and not let him up...EVER. he should be laughed at, not snickered at, but big belly laughs, pointing and all every time he steps to a mic and attempts to speak another word for the rest of his life. but nobody but ron paul is going to call him on it..... and the media will not report it... and the entire country can go on believing that "they hate us cuz of our freedom"..... this country has what we deserve in george w..... and we will continue to get what we deserve if we are to stupid and lazy to think for ourselves....

And yes, I was glad to find out Obama voted against. And yes, if I hear Rudy claim one more time that "the terr'ists are coming back, people!" I think I'll be ill.

    OK.

Ron Paul is right on this one. Certainly.

However, I am a little disturbed by the Cult of Ron Paul that is creeping up ALL OVER THE INTERNET right now.

He is just one guy, with SOME good opinions. He is NOT the Savior of America. Neither is Kucinich. Neither is my candidate, Mike Gravel.

This is why I don't think there should even be the Office of President. It places far too much importance on a single person. It basically encourages the Cult of Personality.

We need to get to where we are voting for ideas, not for people.

I wrote a letter, via e-mail, to Rudy's campaign the day after the last Republican debate. I mentioned that I was planning to support Guiliani in his run, bullshit. I asked how it was that he had never heard the statement that Ron paul said in the debate. I was extremely polite and I listed several sources from several books, including the 9/11 Commiussion report, that made the same statement. I proceeded to ask him if all of these people where wrong as well. Needless to say I have still to receive a response from his campaign.

I did write one to Ron Paul the same day and received a response within 3 days.

    well said, KO. absolutely.

I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said something to the effect of Vote on your ideas not your fears, vote 3rd party. I liked it.

I still do like a presidential office and most people (even the recent presidents) have attempted to give that office too much power. It's supposed to be a check in the grand scheme of things. Legislative, Judicial, Executive. What needs to happen is get someone in that office who does not desire to be a dictator. A team player, but one who can make decisive executive decisions. The reason we have to have 1 guy in the executive branch is becuase that guy has to make decisive decisions. They have a cabinet but perhaps the chosing of that cabinet should not be by the president and it should be balanced politically.

Ron Paul seems to simply be the MMA of the conservative side.

This statement in on the money. We have people in our government, think tanks, strategist, lobbiest, who dictate policy but they are not answerable to the people nor where they elected by the people.

Ron Paul was on Real Time with Bill Maher last night.

I think Ron has a lot of good things to say, it's just too bad most people won't hear him.

and the way they vilifiy and attack and twist his comments! saying he shouldn't be allowed to another debate and all the other attacks...if you disagree, fine, but back it up and at least do it in an honest way instead of just spouting something that sounds good and gets the crowd going
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so

    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
