A little late. doesn't matter though. Israel has weapons of mass destruction. Columbia has weapons of mass destruction. Turkey has weapons of mass destruction. So does the US.

All 4 countries have a very terrible human rights record. Worse than Iraq's.

If wmd's are a legitimate excuse to invade another country just about every country on the planet is fair game.

"The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. Operation that included a two week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans. "

"It appears that American troops found the 550 metric tons of uranium in 2003 after invading Iraq . They had to sit on this information and the uranium itself, for fear of terrorists attempting to steal it. It was guarded and kept safe by our military in a 23,000-acre site with large sand beams surrounding the site."

Ok, so they supposedly find this cache of uranium that they have really had for the past 5 years. Instead of moving it to a green zone (where it can then be sent to extremely secure areas), they build a 23,000 acre base around it and then proceed chill out for 5 years until just recently sending it to Canada?

For fear of terrorism? It could have been removed years ago and declared as found once relocated to a high security environment.

    something smells fishy...

How long did this shipment of uranium actually take?
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Read the entire article. The yellowcake has been there for a long time. Since before 91. Nothing was being done with it and no one denied it being there. There really isn't much of a story. Except that Canada bought it.

This particular yellowcake has been known about for over 10 years before we invaded and posed no threat from the Saddam regime.

"Israeli warplanes bombed a reactor project at the site in 1981. Later, U.N. inspectors documented and safeguarded the yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War. There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991, the official said."

Exactly. The Weapons Inspectors after the Persian Gulf War knew about it documented it. It was pretty easy to find, they just looked around the ruins of the Osiris nuclear facility.. and there it was. Surprize. Nuclear fuel near a nuclear reactor, go figure. That Hussein was an Evil Mastermind.
