I live within a 10 minute bus ride of the Xcel Center. I will not be protesting. Not that I am a fan. But I don't really know what to protest. I just view it as a waste of my time (and I protested the war in DC...twice). What do I care of one silly party is having a convention the week after the other silly party does the same?
I am only pissed because there will be tons of traffic (apparently in Saint Paul AND Minneapolis) and because it puts the Twins on a 15-day road trip that will probably put them permanently behind the White Sox in the AL Central.
I do have some plans (seeing Rage on Wednesday and Lewis Black on Thursday, both in Minneapolis).
But I do like your groups name and this IS America. So best of luck.I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.0 -

Since the Dems are for the war as well, why aren't you demonstrating at their convention? The only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.

I'd demonstrate at the DNC before the RNC they're the ones who REALLY need to get there act together. Besides I've already demonstrated their convention in 04' and the White House for the Hundreds of Thousands killed in this occupation in Iraq.

The other thing is that the poster is at UW-River Falls. MUCH closer to the Twin Cities (GOP) than Denver (DEM).I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.0 -

Millions protested the war in Iraq, didnt stop it. Perhaps someone needs to just bomb the convention in protest. That should wake some people up.
Or maybe set yourself on fire in protest? Extreme, but these are extreme times...no? or does the killing of many lives and the many crimes America commits not extreme enough for that to happen?
I wish a million people stormed the white house the day before America attcked Iraq. That may of stopped it.
Of course it would create a host of new problems, but at least they would be your problems, and yours alone. Well to a certain point anyway.0 -

At what point do you get angry enough? Do you even have a limit? Or like a Locust you just eat, just consume until your body splits open?
You have an issue with what I said? I'm sure the american founding fathers would agree with me.0 -

The civilian death toll is not close to a million, at least according to iraqbodycount.org. I also am pretty sure it therefore would not make it millions.0 -
Join Right wing students as they protest the leftward trend of the Republican party.
We need to turn this party further to the Right! All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.
