Ed did a solo west coast tour.
Pearl Jam did a east coast tour.

NOW,
Ed's doing a so east coast tour.

Does that mean a Pearl Jam west coast tour is in the works????

thats what I been thinking and it seemed like that was the pattern, but MIkes been pretty outspoken to fans and on the spin interview about the band getting back together to work on the next album...which is great news, BUT Im sure the Bridge shows and a few west coast appearances will pop up here and there..maybe a seattle show or 2 ;)
Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...

yea but mike/the band has to say those things....we are already a pretty rabid bunch when it comes to tour dates so when asked the guys aren't gonna say "yea we be doing whole bunch more dates" then those dates don't work out and this place explodes in a fiery whiny death ;):)

Hmmm -- Bridge School is indeed usually the last (or 2nd to last weekend) of Oct! That's a pretty good theory, build a mini West Coast Tour around that appearance -- heck, maybe they'll even headline Bridge this year. Sigh. Regardless, headlining Bridge is nuthin like Roo...

But yeah, after checking flight$$$ to Boston or Montreal -- I might have to just cross my fingers and catch as many west coast shows as possible IF they come. Sigh.

Hope they ignore the shoreline after that and stick to the Civic Center/Bill Graham Memorial!!!

Geez, what was I thinking booking Hawaii for mid-August!!!!

was wondering the same thing. as long as they don't play on october 4th weekend or october 24th weekend near the CA bay area all will be okay. If they do then I will be a sad panda because those 2 weekends are mine and my wife's 30th b-day weekends and I shall not be in the area. I'll x my fingers they do tour, and x everything else they're somewhere else on those weekends.

I'm with you, too AcuteJam!!! I'm also sick of Shoreline and after that amazing 3-show run in 2006 at the Bill Graham Civic Center, I don't see how they could go back to Shoreline.
    Rock on!

I'm in a similar boat, but not for the month of October. Rather, I'm getting married in June 2009, and with all the anticipation of a world tour in support of this so-called album that they should be in the studio making, I just hope they don't play the Bay Area on that same weekend in June that I'm getting married! Although, my back-up plan on that one is that I miss the SF Bay Area shows and spend part of the honeymoon catching them play somewhere else (ie, Hawaii would be an easy sell to my wife!).
    Rock on!

I thought fore sure they would do the west coast around the Who tribute show. you know work there way up the coast, but obviously it's too late for that now. So let's hope for the october theory. Bridge school would be the first domino to fall and then we could get excited.

This year has been full of surprises, and hopefully we will get a tour on the west for us! They want it to be a little cooler in the Gorge this go around! Not that 114 shit from 06. Do it in October and it will be so nice.

That's prolly the Bridge Weekend! Oh man, what better way to spend your 30th! (Well, ok, I stood in line at a Guitar Center Sale and bought a Les Paul for 1/2 price on my 30th.... that was pretty cool!)

I completely agree with your theory. I was just coming on the board to pose the same question..."Will PJ Play the West now in October". You took the thought right outta me!!!

Come on PJ, you owe the West Coast some dates now!!!
