Who cannot vote today in their state?

Being a registered Independent in NJ, I cannot vote today, therefore I have to wait until November.
I don't want to be hostile. I don't want to be dismal. But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existance either.

I'm not a fan of the way the primary process is done in states like NJ. I really like here in Illinois how you can switch back and forth in primary elections. Shutting people out of the process because they don't want to be a registered member of a party doesn't sit well w/ me.

I'm a permanent resident in NYC, so I can't vote.
It bothered me more when I was living in Ohio, though :)
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.
  • I can't. I'm registered No Affiliation so technically I could vote in either primary (I sort of wanted to vote in the republican primary so huckabee and romney don't get in) but I've been moving so much I was kicked out of voting in the city I thought I could vote in. oh well, I'll have it sorted out in time for the general election.
  • Oregon's primary isn't until May...
