Fake News For Political Gain???

did you ever get the feeling that sometimes while watching the news certain storys are; even though acted out in truth; have a demeanor of political gain? Brainwashing in real time playing with real crimes with real peoples pain and fears.
we don't want war, but we still want more?

    All in all, it's not that bad, however, I've come to the conclusion some people are highly skilled professional liars, where you can only really trust their actions and what they do as an indicator to what to believe about them.

    There's lots of good people.
    Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

    The media is a vehicle that the Bush administration drives. Everything you see on mainstream media has been approved by the Feds. In other words, they only tell you what they want you to hear. It's all a fallacy, none of the news is truth anymore, it's all propaganda. Turn off the t.v.!

    well i saw this title and it brought me back to a college course i took in 2005 all about politics and the media (i am a pol sci major). So one of the things that blew me away was that the bush administration created there own news. no this is not a joke. they did not like how stories were being produced on tv radio paper net etc so they created a there own news team that created news stories and it had a positive spin on on everything they wanted people to believe of course...as bad as they may sound it got worse. major networks started to use these stories!! msnbc, fox news, cnn and the rest would put these "stories" on the air and claim it was actual news...the reason they did this? it was cheap! they didnt have to pay anyone to shot the story or to cover a story it was already done for them and the bush administration was more than happy to give them the stories to air...i am not sure if these things still go on i would of course hope not but it is quite amazing how our media didnt blink an eye at this! quite scary really

    thanks for the insight, yea it is scary. I don't understand as citizens the amazingly high tolerance we have developed to swallow these Lies! No wonder some people question 911 so much. its apt.

    Funny, how this doesn't surprise me at ALL. What I'd like to know is, what happened to journalism? What happened to the stereotypical scandal-seeking journalist of yester-year? The ones who got off on uncovering political scandal and lies in the White House? Have they been silenced by the recent administrations? It sure sounds like it, to the point that real journalism is dead. There's no future in something where our own gov't controls it, and since the Feds have been threatening our scientists & journalist w/ dismissal from their jobs if they release certain findings, why isn't there more of an uproar?

    Where the embedded journalists? Are they doing their job or are they being censored?
