Last night Robert Gibbs from the Obama campaign was on Hannity and Colmes and gave Hannity a dose of his own medicine.

What is anti-sematic? Is that anti-semantic? You mean he doesn't like semantics? Neither do I. I loathe semantics.

I am still confused why SEN Obama will not answer questions about Ayers.

What questions? Now that McCain is down in the polls he needs to cook up some false rumors that Obama is some how best friends with Ayers and that Obama himself is a terrorist. Give me break. This Ayers story is nothing but an act of desperation by the McCain campaign.

This man has very little history in the Senate. So to clear this up why does he not just talk about it if he has nothing to hide?

What is there to talk about? It seems that you're grasping at straws.

His associations is all he has so if he is associated with someone who is such a radical maybe the american public should know about this, but the liberal media refuses to even talk about it.

Exactly what I thought. Hannity is worse than a hack. At least a hack will fact check every now and then.

Again what is there to talk about? Obama was 8 when Ayers committed the terrorist acts. He later served on a charity board with Ayers for the underprivileged. Ayers donated $200.00 to Obama's state senate campaign. Now do you honestly believe politicians follow and know everyone who donates to their campaigns? Trust me if there was a story behind this the media and the Clinton campaign would of pounced on it a long time ago. Like I said earlier your looking for something where their is nothing because McCain supporters know that their time is almost up.

  • Hannity tried to play it off as having just interviewed the guy Gibbs was talking about. he was the centerpiece of the show. And how about this nugget, that you'll never hear from hannity. The board that obama served on with Ayers is called the Annanberg Foundation. The president and chairman of the Annenberg Foundation is leonore Annanberg. This morning, John McCain's campaign released a list of 100 former ambassadors endorsing him. Second on the list: Leonore Annanberg

This only demonstrates how ridiculous this entire thing is.

I don't understand why ayers is an issue...

He never spent any time in jail and currently he is a productive member of society....

    It's not, that's why. ;)

My sister has met with Ayers regarding education reform. I guess she's a terrorist now, too. :D And I guess all of his colleagues and students at the University of Illinois Chicago are, too. Hope it won't hold them back too much in life...lol.

It's such bullshit....the fact that they can only imply wrongdoing by talking about Ayers' mistakes, and the fact that McCain won't even bring this up himself. It's pathetic. I think McCain (if he is half as honorable as I used to believe) must be embarrassed about this.

What questions specifically hasn't he answered?

What association??? are you fucking seriously linking Obama to Ayers? Calling him a terrorist just because he knows someone who was apart of a radical group 40 YEARS AGO???????????????

And for the record Obama did address this issue back during the Democratic Primaries. He was asked this very same question by George Sepha(whateverthefuck)opolus. And Obama addressed this issue.

The fact that that half wit Palin is digging this up again is absolutly pathetic.

Obama grew up in the same neiborhood. He was 8 years old. Ayers has no association to Obama, nor is there any evidence that Obama has any association with Ayers asside from a fundrasing (not for Obama) event where both men were in attendence.

This is an old issue that has already been addressed.

Why didn't chickenshit McCain bring that up during the debate???

    You know why?

Because Obama would have answered it directly AGAIN and once AGAIN this dead issue would have been put to rest.

But no...McCain would rather bring this up at his Hee Haw waterhead republican ralies than acutally ask this to Obama directly.

    What a joke

In fairness to this bogus controversy, they did have more of a connection then what you mentioned.

Obama and Ayers served together for three years on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago, an anti-poverty foundation established in 1941.

The two also appeared together on academic panel discussions, including a 1997 University of Chicago discussion on juvenile justice.

They again appeared in 2002 at an academic panel co-sponsored by the Chicago Public Library.

Obama served as president of the board of directors for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a large education-related nonprofit organization that Ayers was instrumental in starting. Keep in mind that the Annenberg foundation was started by Walter Annenberg (a republican and Ambassador to the United Kingdom under Nixon) and still ran by his wife.

So yes, their paths crossed over the years, but this idiotic inference that the McCain camp is trying to put out there that Obama is a terrorist sympathizer is a joke...

    It's beyond idiotic.

I went to grade school with a guy that ended up getting convicted for rape and murder.

We traded baseball cards in grade school and I even had him over for my 7th Birthday party.

Does this make me guilty? Because I knew this guy when I was 7?

It's bullshit. It's an absolute crock of shit spit out by a desperate pathetic Republican ticket.

Sean Hannity is a dumb-ass. Anyone who who would even entertain the idea of believing a word this man speaks should be ashamed of themselves.

You'd be very suprised by the audience that half wit degenerates like Hannity and Limbaugh get...It's very very scary.

It's tabloid Conservative Sensationalism and it's disgusting. People like my Neighbor listen to this crap and spit it out to me like it's actual news....like something I should actually take seriously

    It's horrific.

Limbaugh has been giving this little ditty to his listeners all week

    Q. "What do Bin Laden and Obama Have in Common"?
    A. "They both are friends with someone who bombed the Pentagon".

    Unbelievable!!!

Trust me I have a few of those in my family. My oldest brother and I are the only non Republicans in our family. My oldest brother is a Dem and I'm Libertarian so we have to listen to the Hannity/Limbaugh talking point all the time. I love her to death but my own mother has actually stated that she does not like McCain, does not trust McCain but that she is going to vote for him because she doesn't want someone with the middle name Hussein in the White House. Pretty fucking sad.

I know what you're saying. And no disrespect towards your mother, but is there anyway that you can convince her that they moved election day to December 4th? :)

HAHAH. It doesn't matter we live in New Jersey which is a blue state through and through. It would take a miracle of biblical proportions, or a Walter Mondale candidacy, for this state to go Red in a presidential election.
